The History of Zotspeak Toastmasters at UCI

For over 20 years, Zotspeak Toastmasters has brought together UCI students, faculty, staff, and the local community to improve public speaking and leadership skills. Each one-hour meeting offers a welcoming environment where members can practice both prepared speeches and impromptu speaking through Table Topics. Participants take on various roles, gaining leadership experience while receiving constructive feedback to help them grow, whether they are beginners or experienced speakers.

The club is built on the principle of learning by doing, allowing members to develop confidence in a supportive, non-judgmental setting. Zotspeak fosters personal and professional growth, making it the perfect space to refine communication skills in a positive, encouraging atmosphere.

Learn. Practice. Network.
